In a normal year, many of you would by now have been scrambling to get tickets for the annual Christmas Concert.
The year 2020 is very different. Because of the worries and restrictions due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation, there will be no Christmas Concert in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall this year.
However, there will be a VIRTUAL event at 7.30 pm on Monday 21 December 2020.
This will be streamed live on YouTube, for 1 night only, and there will be an opportunity for everyone to donate to CHAS, through the “Just Giving” website or by text from a smart phone. Both options will allow for the addition of Gift Aid, where applicable. Anyone who does not have access to the internet or a smart phone will be able to donate by cheque.
Alan Craig, our Musical Director, has set up a website dedicated to the Event and has produced a video to promote it. A promotional flyer has also been produced.
You will find Alan’s promotion video via the following link. Visit the same link on Monday 21st December 2020 at 7.30 pm to join the online presentation “A Christmas Montage” celebrating 18 years of wonderful concert music by the Chorus.
Please share this link with friends and family, those who would usually attend our Christmas Concert and those who would not be able to attend but would wish to support CHAS.
It is hoped to have a virtual worldwide audience this year. Everybody who wants to attend the Event will be able to view it from their own home, without a scramble for tickets.
Perhaps this year there will be an even larger audience and able to raise even more money for CHAS.” If you would like more information or to discuss any of the above, please give me a ring on 0141 772 3914
